Every tutor, new or long standing, goes through an application review, an interview, a background check, and a demo lesson before they are matched with a family.

Session safety

Lessons happen over video call, and a parent can join or check in at any time. Tutors are trained to keep sessions focused strictly on the lesson.

Your data

The optional maths assessment collects a first name or nickname, age band, chosen starting level, parent email, submitted answers, response times and a report, with parent or tutor permission. When online report delivery is enabled, Netlify Forms processes the submission and sends a notification to hellobeyondclass@gmail.com for assessment and follow-up. It is separate from the website request inbox. Reports are not automatically emailed to the parent. An essential access cookie keeps the assessment unlocked for up to two hours. Code attempts are limited using a hashed network address, and expired attempt records are cleared daily. Session progress is saved in the same browser tab for up to 24 hours; use Clear this session on a shared device. Downloaded reports remain wherever you save them. Contact hellobeyondclass@gmail.com to ask about or request deletion of assessment information.

Information you share with us, including your child's name, grade, and schoolwork, is used to respond to your requests and run and improve their lessons. Requests submitted through our forms are stored in our private website inbox, which only the owner can access. We do not sell family data to third parties.

We also keep anonymous page-count records containing only the page name, date, and total views. These records do not identify visitors or include form details, query strings, or referral addresses. This feature sets no tracking cookies and respects your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences.

If you submit a bank transfer notice, we store your name, email, selected plan, currency, reported amount, transfer reference or sender name, and any notes in the private inbox so we can reconcile the transfer. Payments take place through your bank or payment provider; this website does not collect bank login details or card numbers. A transfer notice is not proof that funds have arrived.

Trial requests also include the time zone and availability you enter so we can arrange a suitable lesson time. You can view and download the sample worksheet without submitting any personal details.
