One-to-one online maths tutoring for children.

Quick answer: BeyondClass provides live, one-to-one online maths tutoring with visual explanations, interactive activities and guided practice. Lessons are matched to your child's level, curriculum and pace.

We work with families in the UK, US, Canada and Nigeria. Meet a tutor in a free trial lesson before choosing a plan.

Who is online maths tutoring for?

BeyondClass supports school students who need a clearer explanation, practice with a difficult topic or help preparing for the maths in their curriculum. Tell us what your child understands already and where the difficulty begins.

  • Building foundations: discuss number skills, fractions, proportions and the ideas your child's next topic depends on.
  • Making schoolwork clearer: bring a topic or example question to discuss with a tutor, then practise a fresh question independently.
  • Curriculum and exam preparation: work towards the requirements of the curriculum or exam you identify, after we confirm a suitable tutor.

How do the lessons work?

  1. Tell us about your child. Share the grade or year, curriculum, difficult topics, time zone and available times.
  2. Meet a matched tutor. The free trial lets you see how your child works with the tutor before deciding on a paid plan.
  3. Explore the maths. Connect a visual explanation or interactive example to the written calculation, then practise applying the idea.
  4. Agree the next steps. Choose a package and confirm the lesson dates, lesson count and amount before payment. Updates and assessments follow your chosen plan.

What makes the teaching visual and interactive?

A learner can inspect a diagram, move a control, make a prediction and discuss what changed. The tutor connects that example to mathematical notation and checks whether the child can explain and use the idea independently.

Our public examples include equivalent-fraction strips and a triangle whose corners can be moved. Try them before booking to see the kind of explanation we mean.

Which curricula can I ask about?

Tell us whether your child follows GCSE, A Level, SAT preparation, Common Core, a Canadian provincial curriculum, WAEC / NECO, IB or another curriculum. We confirm that a suitable tutor is available before booking. If you are unsure, choose “Not sure yet” on the enquiry form.

How much does online maths tutoring cost?

Essential, Growth and Ultra packages cover four weeks, with different lesson counts, durations and support. Visit the pricing page for current USD and NGN prices and the Confidence Week option. Confirm your dates and package before paying.

Can I explore resources before booking?

Yes. Try our free interactive activities and sample probability worksheet. You can also request learning materials for your child's grade and topic. The separate maths assessment for ages 6–16 requires an access code from BeyondClass.

Bring us the topic that has been difficult.

Tell us your child's grade, curriculum and what they need help with. We will discuss the tutor and lesson schedule with you.
